*IMPORTANT INFORMATION*
UPDATES TO THE MEMBERSHIP CALENDAR AND SCCCA MEMBERSHIPS
1. Membership payment for the 2025-2026 calendar season is due by September 1, 2025
2. This membership will be effective from September 1, 2025 - August 31, 2026.
3. Membership is only for coaches that are CURRENTLY coaching at a Suffolk County Public School. Retired coaches may join again only if and when they begin coaching again.
4. If a coach is hired anytime after September, they are eligible to pay membership.
5. There will be a separate Game Day Awards Luncheon where awards and scholarships will be presented at the end of fall season. Members will NOT have the opportunity to present Game Day awards and the conclusion of our competitive season.
6. In order to be eligible for Game Day End of Season awards, coaches must be a paid member by the start of the Fall season. For this year, 8/25/2025
7. In order to be eligible for Competitive Cheer End of Season awards, coaches must be a paid member by the start of the Fall season. For this year, 11/17/2025
8. It is the Varsity coach's responsibility to disseminate all this information to the coaches within their programs.
9. Varsity Coaches - please email SCCCA with your coaching staff for the 2025-2026 season.

VERY IMPORTANT:
You MUST compete in all 7 Varsity Competitions! For Varsity, each teams season average score will determine who will qualify for the County Championship. If you chose not to compete in a competition, a Zero will averaged into your overall score. Additional consequences will also be assessed.
JV must attend all 6 Section XI scheduled contests.
Middle school must attend all 4 Section XI scheduled contests.
FORFEIT RULE:
A team that does not attend an event, will be subject to a review by the Executive Director and Sports Chair.
REMINDER:
You do not need to be a member to compete, but you will be ineligible to receive any awards that are given out by the association. We are opening membership up to all coaches at any level.

Section XI Cheer Webstore
We are excited to launch our Section XI Cheer Web store! All proceeds from the web store will go towards both Game Day & traditional cheer scholarships for the 2025-2025 Season. Store will close on September 3, 2026.
The web store is open to coaches, athletes, parents, etc. We are encouraging coaches to please share the link with those in their programs. Anyone can purchase the items and all items will ship directly to the customer from Motivated NY.
Important Information:
- The hoodie, women's dri-fit tee and the unisex tee can all be customized. There are 4 options.
1. All- County- for any All- County recipients
2. Academic All- County- for any Academic All County recipients
3. All Class- for any All- Class recipients
4. Personalization- any personalization of the customers choosing. Last name, graduating year, etc.
* We realize that athletes haven't been named these awards yet for this season, However, we thought that coaches may want to purchase them in advance for their award recipients or underclassmen from last year who earned these awards may want to put it on their clothing. *
